Ready to be IN the game?

I’ve been thinking about people who are ready to CLAIM THEIR SPACE and be full players in the game.  It is our time to shine!When I was a kid I was pretty uncoordinated and TERRIBLE at sports, mostly because I was a late bloomer.  My two older brothers were exactly the opposite. They were excellent athletes. We lived on a dead end street with loads of other families with kids, mostly older than me. Everyday after school everyone gathered outside to play.  Sometimes we broke into small groups and at other times my brothers would organize one big game of football....

Oh my goodness!  I have been PAINTING!  Capitalized because I have let other pieces of the business, such as marketing and accounting and updating inventory information, etc. fall a bit to the side as I have focused on the work itself.  With fewer people popping into the gallery, I am able to work for longer stretches of uninterrupted time, which is intense and exciting, but also a bit exhausting.   Here I am sitting and looking at "Laying New Pathways"  in a bit of a state of exhaustion - lol.

My New Series Reacts to the Pandemic Hi,I hope that you are continuing to stay healthy and socially distanced. I have begun going to the studio again, and even though Joe and I are sometimes there at the same time, we try to stay far apart.  Working at the studio has allowed me to have my work around me as I build a new series in reaction to COVID-19 and social isolation.  Having my work around me allows me to evaluate it and also helps me to push myself further on the next piece. So what does the new series look like? ...

Is it cold outside?  I hope this sunny piece brings some warmth to your home or office! True confession... in case you couldn't tell...
