A few weeks ago, I went to the Hilma af Klint exhibit at the Guggenheim in New York City. I was very inspired by the colors that she used.
In Every Good Story the Hero Gets Tested
In every good story, the hero gets tested. Well, lately I have been pushing myself, testing myself like the hero in your favorite story, to go past the safety of the known and into the unknown, past the first solution that looks nice to take a chance and go on a journey to see not only where I will end up, but also how it will change me.

Why I haven't been painting and how it is good for you!
I haven't been painting! OK that's not entirely true, I have been working on the two pieces pictured above. But, I am not spending as much time on painting because I have been packing, hiring handymen, and getting our home ready to sell.
